A lot is written about mindset. For business owners, transforming their mindset can seem a daunting task. There are a few key factors you can adopt to start your journey. John Osborne (Chairman) has spent 30 plus years investigating the role mindset plays in the success of his clients and has compiled the following list of “basics” to help anyone begin to make changes.

Thoughts become things

The law of attraction is a universal law that states you attract everything into your life that matches your dominant thoughts and emotions. If you want to attract wealth, then you need to think about wealth and speak about it. If you want to attract love, then spend time thinking about loving others and expressing your affection for them.

Achieving success requires having a positive attitude. That means having faith in yourself and believing in your ability as well as believing in the power of positive thinking. In addition, it is important to have an optimistic outlook on life because negativity can prevent us from achieving our goals by making us believe we cannot accomplish them or do something different than what we are currently doing if things aren’t working out for us the way we would like them too.

The subconscious mind controls 95 percent of all brain activity but most people don’t understand how powerful this part of their brain really is! It stores information without being aware of it which means when someone says “something felt familiar/unfamiliar” they may have been responding subconsciously rather than consciously!

It starts with a vision

Success is attainable, but you must first control your thoughts and emotions.

For many people, a vision of success begins with a mental picture of the end goal–the final result that they hope to achieve. The power of this image or vision is often underestimated. While other types of motivation may fade in strength over time, this type of motivation remains constant until one has achieved their goal (or died trying).

In his book “Think and Grow Rich,” Napoleon Hill discusses how important it is for individuals to clearly visualize their goals before attempting them:

“Whatever the mind can conceive and believe, it can achieve.”

When we imagine ourselves achieving our goals, we are already moving towards them–in fact we are already there! We know what it feels like when we achieve our dreams because we have already done so through our imagination. This feeling becomes stronger each time we revisit these feelings in our minds; thus strengthening our will to succeed even further as well as building confidence within us that we will succeed regardless of any obstacles that come up along the way.

Take action on your vision

You have to take action on your vision. There are no shortcuts or short-cuts, only hard work and time. If you want something, it will take time and effort – but the results will be worth it!

You need to be consistent in your vision and what you want out of life. You must prepare yourself mentally and physically for what’s ahead of you; this way, when obstacles come at you unexpectedly, they won’t knock down your progress too badly. Be patient with yourself as well: while some things may happen faster than others (such as landing a job), don’t get discouraged if everything doesn’t happen at once – there are a lot of factors that go into success so try not to rush them! Lastly: persistence is key! No matter how long it takes or how many times something doesn’t work out exactly how planned…keep going until YOU reach YOUR goal!

Full commitment

Commitment is an important part of success. To be fully engaged, you need to commit yourself and your time to whatever it is that you’re doing. But commitment isn’t a one-time thing—it’s a choice that must be made day after day, week after week and month after month until it becomes habit. And even then, there will always be times when you have to recommit yourself to what matters most.

Commitment isn’t easy; it takes effort and determination. The same way you can’t simply decide “today I’m going to do something,” then forget about it tomorrow or the next day or whenever else something comes up (and believe me: Something always comes up), so too should your commitment not waver when faced with different challenges or distractions throughout each day’s journey toward success!

Successful people understand this concept very well; they know that if they want their goals met, they must make them happen by taking action every single day toward those ends—and importantly: They remind themselves of these things often so they don’t forget them!

Developing the right mindset will take time and effort. Be patient and consistent.

As we’ve discussed, developing the right mindset will take time and effort. Be patient and consistent. You will make mistakes along the way, but don’t give in to feelings of discouragement or despair. Rather than dwelling on these setbacks, use them as opportunities to learn from your experiences.

Remember that when it comes to achieving success in any area of life—not just sports—success requires hard work over an extended period of time with few guarantees for immediate results. In other words: You need patience!

It’s important to remember that success is attainable if you develop the right mindset. It takes time and effort, but it can be done! It all starts with a vision and fully committing yourself to achieving it; then once you have those two things down pat, it’s just a matter of taking action until your goals become reality.
